名誉会長からのメッセージ

2009年と2010年の経済の不況にも関わらずKTSはテクノロジイに投資を続けました。我々の誇りである川崎物造りセンターを最高級の人材と最高級の機械で充実させました。例えばオークマ、マザック、ファナック，三豊、東京精密，ザイス，岡本それからソデック等の機械です。すべての機種のコンプレッサーホイールを、鍛造アルミから五軸機械によって全加工したものを装着しているのはアフターマーケットの中でもKTSが初めてです。

この同じ年に、KTSは日本のOEMで25年の経験を持つ技術者を、常務として迎えました。彼は取引上のの課題の合理化、日本の製造技術構想の導入、さらに今までは購入していた部品，例えばスラスト軸受け、ジャーナル軸受け、ロックナット更に鋳物部品等は設計、鋳造、加工及び検査を全て社内で行い厳格な品質レベルを保持しながら納期の改善をしております。

我々は多数の目標を達成して参りましたが、技術面での投資がまだ必要と考えております。私の希望で、我々の信頼するパートナー旭日エンジンスペアー社がKTSを買収する事になりました。これはKTSを次なる高い技術レベルに引き上げるための一歩であり、旭日の社名は川崎ターボシステムと改名しました。2011年の3月から香港で始動します。

個人的な件でありますが、私は長年働いて参りましたが今回退職を決意いたしました。KTSからは、名誉会長の座を授与されまして、これを有難く受領いたしました。

KTSの有能なチームは、KTSのレベルを引き上げることに間違いありません。丁度彼等がMFSのインペラーをアフターマーケットの世界でブームを引き起こした様に。

私は代理店の人達それからお客様に対して事業の支持をしていただいたことに感謝をしております。かつフィードバックをいただければ幸で御座います。

Honorary Chairman's Message

Despite the global economic conditions in past 2009/10, KTS continued our investment in technology, equipping our flagship advanced manufacturing base--Kawasaki Monozukuri Center (KMC) - with the best of people and Japanese machine tools, like Okuma, Mazak, Fanuc, Mitutoyo, Okamoto and Sodick. Using the sophisticated 5 Axis technology, KTS is first in the aftermarket to fit the whole range of our products with Machined-From-Solid (MFS) impellers in 2010.

In the same year, we based a highly experienced Japanese engineer who has 25 years of experience in Japan OE turbo, to be Managing Director in KMC. He will streamline supply chain challenges and introduced many Japanese manufacturing concepts. Many parts we used to sourced -- like thrust bearings, journal bearings, lock-nuts and casting -- are now designed, casted, machined and assembled in KMC, meeting all our stringent QA requirements and improving delivery targets.

We have achieved many milestones, but significant investments in technology are still required. On my request, my trusted partner Asahi Engine Spares has agreed to acquire KTS, and commit even more technology and resources to bring KTS to the next level. In line with the KTS family, Asahi will adopt the new company name "Kawasaki Turbo System Ltd" in Hong Kong, starting 1 Mar 2011.

On a personal note, I have been working for many years and it is time for me to retire. I thank the new KTS management for offering me as the Honorary Chairman which I am privileged to accept.

The capable team at KMC committed to excellence. I’m sure they will bring KTS to higher benchmarks, like how the MFS impellers became the trendsetter in the aftermarket.
